INTERNET BIDDERS: Bidders are able to bid via the Internet at www.bidtarter.com. The auction business is not responsible for Internet, software and/or system failures in attempts to execute bidding. If leaving absentee Internet bids, please consider leaving a reasonable bid. The Internet venue will incrementally (in accordance with standard bid increments) execute bids on bidder's behalf until your bid is either successful or exhausted. Internet bidders may be required to agree to additional terms established by the Internet bidding venue. Internet bidders are subject to a 15% Buyer's Premium.
ITEM REPRESENTATIONS: The auctioneer and auction house will identify items by common language but does not make any representations regarding the item value, estimated value, market value or any representation regarding condition, antiquity or age status. Buyer must make all of his/her personal item evaluations.
LEGAL POSSESSION: Bidder's agree to inquire and conform to any legal requirements regarding buying, receiving, owning or storing an item before bidding on an item. By bidding the bidder professes he/she has a legal right to buy and receive an item.Coins that are not PCGS, NGC, ANACS or other reputable grading services are not graded by auctioneer and are only mere opinions of the seller. We accept credit cards for payment for any winning online bidders at all sales. We require credit card information to bid, and may use it for payment if you are the winning bidder. All items that are not paid by the due date become property of the auction company and may be resold at the auction company discretion.
Local buyers are able to pickup coins within 3 business day after the conclusion of the auction at 103 N Meridian St, Winchester, IN 47394. Shipping and handling is the responsibility of the buyers. We will combine shipping for all the coins purchased by the same buyer. All Invoices must be paid before we will ship any purchase or purchases. If you have any questions concerning shipping cost please call or e-mail using the information above. All items will be shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment for your purchases.
SHIPPING: All shipping and handling charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If more than one item is purchased we will combine shipping. Shipping charges are billed to your credit card, in some cases separately from your winning bid invoice. We normally wrap, pack, box, measure & weigh all items and print labels for shipping. PLEASE NOTE: You may receive an e-mail with USPS tracking information, but this does not mean that your items have been shipped. This is simply a notification e-mail indicating that a label has been created and USPS can expect a package to be shipped.
All items will be shipped with insurance. To file a claim for damaged items you must send photos of the damaged items and photos of the box the items were shipped in. Without these photos I cannot and will not give refunds. Cost of shipping is not refundable. If you do not want insurance you must call and request no insurance! Uninsured items are shipped at your own risk. No refunds! No credit will be issued for non-insured items!
We try to keep the shipping and handling fees to a minimum. We will combine items as much as possible. We cannot control the cost of shipping.
Tarter retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Tarter has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk. Auction company and or auctioneers reserve the right to sell their own items in any auction.
Payment: a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete. b) Sales tax will be charged and collected on all purchases, as required by appropriate state/local laws. Loading Equipment: a) Tarter does not lend, lease, or borrow any equipment, nor deliver sold goods. Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling. Item Removal: All items must be removed within 24 hours of the auction closing and/or within the specified date. If items are not removed by this time they will be forfeited and/or sold for storage.
No Liability: a) Tarter assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased. b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held.
Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Tarter, sign forms and abide by our terms listed. b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information. c) No consignor, seller, or agent for seller has the right to bid on their consigned goods. d) Any employee of Tarter may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item. e) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. f) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
